Summary
Whetley Academy are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our academy in July 2024 on a part time, permanent basis.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Hours: 10 hours per week / Term Time only (38 Weeks) / Permanent

We are fortunate to have multiple impressive murals painted throughout the Academy, making for an inspiring learning environment for pupils and staff alike.
Whetley Academy is continuing to improve in its approach to teaching and learning. Our recent Ofsted report commented that, 'Senior leaders have made curriculum development a priority. Subject leaders, alongside leaders in the trust, have created an engaging curriculum that precisely sets out what pupils should learn and when. Teachers speak highly about the training and coaching that they receive. This supports them to understand and teach the curriculum well.'
Pupils’ personal development is woven through the curriculum. Pupils learn about the lives and achievements of people from a range of backgrounds and ethnicities.
