Summary


This is an excellent opportunity for manager with specialist knowledge and understanding of medical education.

As a member of a dynamic, supportive team and you will fulfil a key role leading on the development and delivery of high-quality, effective medical education service in line with the requirements of the Trust, GMC, Foundation School, Royal Colleges, Imperial College and NHS England.

You will support the Divisional Directors of Medical Education/Directors of Clinical Studies in developing, maintaining and achieving excellence in Medical Education across the Trust. You will be responsible for the management of the core business and administrative function of the medical education portfolio across the divisions, working with Clinical/Firm leads and Training Programme Directors.

On your base site you will have responsibility for managing the medical education team's workload, which includes responsibility for the conduct, performance and line management of the team. This role is also responsible for ensuring that members of staff in the teams are supported in their roles and those reporting to them are managed, developed, mentored and coached appropriately.
