Hours of work: 38 Hours Per Week. 6.00am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday
Location: James Hall & Co, Bowland View, Preston, PR2 5QT
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Based at our state-of-the-art head office and distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been

About the Role
As Supervisor of the James Hall Housekeeping team, you will lead the team to provide a high-quality cleaning service across all
areas of the organisation. You will be required to carry out and oversee deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks where needed.
Provide regular inspections of all areas to ensure a high quality of cleaning standards are maintained, and also monitor usage of
cleaning products and equipment and stock taking.
As a supervisor of others, you will need to prepare cleaning schedules, and allocate duties to your team. The role will include
the management of all Housekeepers, preparing and managing staff rotas, as well as managing holidays and sickness. This will be
completed while ensuring the safety of all staff and their compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
* To establish cleaning guidelines and operating procedures
* To train Housekeeping team members to uphold the required standards of cleaning.
* Supervising workers and regularly inspecting work areas to ensure standards are met
* Prepare staff rotas, manage team sickness and Holidays.
* Maintain staff records.
* Stocktaking of cleaning supplies and monitoring usage
* Auditing work areas and notifying management about repairs and maintenance needs
* Any other reasonable duties as required.

* You have a proven track history of cleaning in a range of environments
* as a cleaning supervisor, you will have great Leadership skills to help motivate and inspire.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with managers and other supervisors.
* You are a Problem-solver.
* You are an organiser helping you plan schedules, delegate tasks and monitor supplies
* You are flexible to meet the needs of the business
