Weare currently looking for a enthusiastic midwife to lead, facilitate and build on the current practice to enable the delivery of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle version 3
Job summary (Fixed term contract 31stMarch 2025)
The sucessful candidate will work with midwifery, obstetric, and neonatal colleagues to lead on the continued implementation and monitoring of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle v3 at Whipps Cross hospital. You will be required to have excellent communication skills and be able to manage their own workload.
The successful candidate will support and work alongside the leads for the individual elements to achieve compliance with MIS (Maternity Incentive Scheme) standard 6. They will have overall responsibility for leading, facilitating and building on all the 6 elements of SBLCB v3.
Element 1: reducing smoking in pregnancy.
Element 2: Fetal growth
Element 3: Raising awareness of reduced fetal movement
Element 4: Effective fetal monitoring
Element 5: Reducing preterm birth
Element 6: Management of pre-existing diabetes
