We are currently recruiting a Business Service Team Leader to cover as a Fixed Term 12-month Contract for Maternity Leave within the Data Team in Planning and Business Service team.
Overall responsibility for the end to end processes and delivery of all Business Services activity in relation to Compliance, Repairs, Empty Homes, Estate Services etc. Including the oversight and management of all administration, data management (including input and reporting), scheduling and job management, IT system management and customer contact. Provide support and input to key projects and cyclical processes. Ensure all activities completed in line with agreed KPIs.
The role is subject to a basic DBS paid for by Gentoo.

• Carry out regular data cleansing and housekeeping activities to ensure the integrity of the Group’s
data and the accurate reporting of the Group and department KPI’s.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines
• Confidence and ability to multi task, recording information accurately with attention to detail.
• Can confidently carry out people management activities e.g. team meetings, 121’s, sickness &
performance management meetings and annual appraisals.
• Confidence to lead and engage a team as well as having difficult conversations

What we are looking for:
Experience of:
The ability to analyse data and use it to inform and deliver service transformation and improvements
Strong influencing skills and ability to overcome resistance to change
Working in a similar Business Services role in a highly regulated business / industry.
Competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as the Group's internal IT systems (or in House systems).
Knowledge of:
People management experience and dealing with difficult / complex issues
Experience of managing a team and driving results through others
