Summary

Are you patient, caring and good with young people? If so, we are looking for a Passenger Assistant to join our busy Transport Operations team to help take children, including children with special educational needs or disabilities, to and from school.

• able to communicate effectively with schools, office and parents.
• committed to delivering a high level of customer service to clients and their families.

About the role…
The School Transport Passenger Assistant is responsible for the following duties:
• supervise and maintain the safety of all children travelling on the transport to and from school
• communicate effectively with the parent/carer of passengers regarding alterations of timings or other issues.
• alert the driver of the vehicle and other passengers with regard to any transport, safety or care issues arising on the route.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

All interviews will be held on 6th and 7th August 2024 at Oakham Enterprise Park
