Summary
Daniek Owen Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance Site Engineer on behalf of a well established civil engineering contractor to assist in delivering ongoing works in Yorkshire/Northeast & West Midlands.
The contractor is a long-standing Civils & Groundworks main contractor- who are well known for delivering packages to a variety of new build commercial / industrial sites. Strong workload across the UK with a healthy pipeline of secured projects - meaning good longevity for the right Site Engineer.
You must be willing to travel and work away to be considered for this role.
Duties as Site Engineer:
* Setting out
* Quality assurance
* As-built surveys
* Working with CAD on drawings
* Direction of sub-contractors & direct labour
* Assisting with site documentation
* Permits for work
* Liaising with Site Manager, General Foreman & Project Manager on site
Experience Required:
* Experience working as Site Engineer on civil engineering & groundworks projects - confident with setting out, QA, as-builts etc.
* Experience with using GPS
* Qualifications: CSCS Card & Full UK Driving License essential
* Degree or HNC/HND qualified is preferred.
Remuneration:
On offer is a pay of up to £300 per day (DOE)
