An exciting opportunity is available to work in a partnership project between Colchester City Council, Tendring District Council and NHS CCG Healthcare to promote and deliver digital access.

The successful applicant will be responsible for completing and creating reports to measure success around the setting up of community events and sessions that will show people how to use electronic devices and get online.

An ability to communicate and train people of all levels, and a high degree of patience is essential for the role on occasions to provide cover.

The role will require working with the Project Manager on a daily basis, some solo working, and for a post holder who is able to work on initiative, as well as to plan and attend activities within both Colchester and Tendring.

Your role will include working with and assisting a wide and diverse range of the community, and you will need to have your own vehicle to drive to the locations on occasion, there will be a number of meetings you will attend across Colchester and Tendring. As well as a responsibility for creating, monitoring and supporting on the delivery for multiple projects, and working closely with colleagues from across a range of disciplines, the Council and NHS organisations.

You will have an active role working with external partners, contractors and local groups, especially within the health sector. This is a job that demands willingness and an ability to turn your hand to whatever tasks come along, meeting deadlines either by working effectively on your own, alongside the project board, or as part of a team and providing statistics via relevant documentation in order to measure success.

You will need to demonstrate project support and administrative skills and experience, well-developed communication skills and be somewhat competent in the use of today’s smart technology, as well as some comfortability with assisting and training others in the use of technology.

We are looking for a team member who has strong admin, communication and project support skills and is enthusiastic about promoting online usage to others.
