Summary
We are looking for a new team of assessment associates to be part of the Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance qualification suite for Level 2 and 3.

There are multiple roles available including: writers, revisors and scrutineers.
As minimum we require you to have a Level 4 qualification in either Aircraft mechanics, Aerospace and/or a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
Other areas would also include qualifications and experience:
- hands-on aircraft maintenance
- Minimum CAA Cat A license or military equivalent; or
- L3 diploma in aircraft maintenance (knowledge and/or competency)
- Minimum 5 years teaching and/or assessing aircraft maintenance qualifications
- Experience in writing, reviewing assessment materials
Skills and behaviours we are also looking for in addition to the above are;
- Ability to work consistently to tight deadlines
- Great attention to detail
- Written and communication skills
- Ability to use and navigate IT systems and software as required within the role
Ability to attend meetings within working hours
Writing Examiner:
Responsible for writing assessment materials, such as multiple-choice question's (MCQs) and the associated mark scheme. These would be produced in line with assessment principles, qualification/assessment specifications and the question paper process within agreed timescales.
Reviser:
Responsible for reviewing assessment materials against qualification/assessment specifications, checking for errors or omissions within all assessment materials specific to the assessment. Capturing feedback within a report to support the Writing Examiner make amends where required. Ability to carry out reviewing of the assessment materials until the assessment materials are deemed fit for purpose.
Scrutineer:
Responsible for reviewing the assessment materials from a 'candidate' perspective to ensure these are fit for purpose, accessible and error free. Capturing feedback within a report to support the further production of the assessment materials.
