Summary

Job OverviewSpecialist Hard FM labour loading modeller working mainly on medium to large sized projects, working closely with the Commercial Pricing Managers to support the development of planned and reactive maintenance solutions and costings.

Work collaboratively with Sales teams to ensure accurate and efficient costing of service solutions and challenging solutions with respect to innovations and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
-Data Analysis - Manipulate, assess, and evaluate client provided asset data, and work closely with internal Sales Team to ensure its provenance, accuracy, and interpretation is understood and appropriately considered in developing the bid solution.

-Risk Analysis - Identify and address operational and technological risks as part of the sales team's solution development and consult with Commercial Pricing Manager and Commercial Risk Manager to ensure appropriate management and mitigation.

-Solution Modelling - Conduct labour loading & cost modelling to accurately reflect how asset data can be maintained from a statutory, mandatory, and best practice perspective as well as estimating required consumables. Contribute to analysis of reactive call data to assess reactive maintenance delivery solution and required spares and materials at various comprehensive thresholds, as well as identifying assets requiring specialist subcontractor maintenance.

-Stakeholder Relationships - Build relationships, maintain regular personal contact with internal & external stakeholders, customers, and partners to improve the exchange of information, knowledge, and expertise to enable improved modelling.

-Reporting - Support Commercial Pricing Manager in preparing commercial/pricing updates for mid-bid reviews, divisional sign off and Board sign off, including caveats and assumptions.

-Bid Modelling - Lead price modelling for single service Hard FM only bids by completing internal bid pricing model (as well as labour loading assets) to ensure compliance with required modelling standards and pricing methodology guidelines.

-Pricing Governance - Manage completion of commercial/pricing sections of Bid Co Governance Pack as well as preparing P&L and Cashflow statement for tender sign off

-Procurement Engagement - Liaise with Procurement to ensure subcontractor pricing complies with Group guidance regarding use of internal companies, and that external suppliers receive relevant extracts from tender documents to provide accurate prices.

-Client Pricing Returns - Ensure client pricing returns are completed and are fully compliant with tender pricing instructions

About this RoleReporting to a Commercial Pricing Manager in the Public Sector Pricing Team the role is characterised by having a strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical assets and systems, and a good understanding of industry related specifications and service standards such as SFG20, MoD SFG20 (MIRS), HVCA, CIBSE, and RICS.

The role requires excellent numeracy, problem solving, and analytical skills, together with an ability to interrogate and manipulate large volumes of data in challenging timescales. A strong attention to detail is key to ensure labour loading and cost models are built to the highest standards.
