Registered Manager – Brand New Nursing Home
Olney, Buckinghamshire
Up to £75k + PRP

I am looking for an experienced Registered Nursing Home Manager to lead a fabulous brand new flagship luxury care home combining superb facilities, designed with resident wellbeing in mind in the beautiful market town of Olney. The home's generously sized 66 bedrooms are immaculately designed in bright, tasteful and contemporary colours.

In this post you will:

• Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals who are committed to delivering person-centred care
• Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy
• Ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support
• Manage the home’s budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed
• Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns
• Have oversight of all records to ensure that the home’s administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner

For this great new post you will need:

• Extensive experience of managing a nursing home
• Previous commissioning experience
• NMC Registration as a Nurse (preferable)
• A good understanding of financial management and budgeting
• A good working knowledge, with a proven record, of CQC standards
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.
• An enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person-centred care
