We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our rapidly expanding team as a Reception Security Officer, responsible for covering lunch breaks. The role will be based at a prestigious site near Old Street in London.
Role Responsibilities:
- Access and Egress Control: Assume full responsibility for controlling access and egress at the site, a critical aspect of maintaining overall security.
- Visitor Reception and Coordination: Manage the arrival and departure of staff and visitors, ensuring compliance with site procedures.
- CCTV Monitoring: Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular visual inspections of the premises.
- Daily Liaison: Communicate effectively with site managers and the Facilities Manager to coordinate the activities of visiting contractors.
- Report Writing and Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records using written reports and messages.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Solid Security Background: Extensive experience in security operations, particularly in gatehouse environments.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Professional Demeanour: Demonstrate a friendly and professional attitude at all times, with a willingness to engage with both colleagues and visitors.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a larger security team, providing support as needed.
Qualifications Required:
- SIA Licence - Door Supervisor
- First Aid at Work
