We are an award-winning building design consultancy with exciting new projects coming up with our Partner, North Yorkshire Council. We are looking for an Assistant for Abnormal Loads to join us at Align Property Services within our Bridges team on a casual, part time basis with hours to work around you. You will join a dedicated team as we continue to expand and grow our portfolio.
As an Assistant for Abnormal Loads, you will be part of an administrative team of 2-3 people, supporting the bridges team. The team are responsible for reviewing, accepting and the processing of abnormal load applications to ensure abnormal loads are transported safety across the North Yorkshire highway network. You will not need any prior knowledge in this area as full training will be provided.

This is a good opportunity for someone looking for a flexible working pattern. You will be offered working hours dependent on the level of workload on a week-by-week basis that will fit in with your other commitments. There may be an opportunity for more hours during peak periods and employee sickness and holidays.
Full training will be given, with a positive attitude being more important than experience.
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have the following skills and qualifications:
· GCSE’s, preferably in Maths and English.
· Effective communication and people skills.
· IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Be able to balance workload successfully at peak times.
