Summary
Fostering Social Worker
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join Wrexham Council's Fostering team. As a Fostering Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of foster carers and children, providing support and guidance to ensure that the children are safe and well-cared for.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments of prospective foster carers
- Manage a caseload of foster carers and children
- Provide support and guidance to foster carers
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with foster carers, children, and other professionals
- Ensure that children's needs are met and that they are safe and well-cared for
Requirements
- A degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Registration with Social Care Wales, or a willingness to acquire
- Experience of working within a Fostering team
- Excellent communication skills
