As a Healthcare Assistant at our Darlington clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, ultimately improving our patients' quality of life. We're committed to your professional growth and will provide comprehensive training, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to our in-house education program, 'd Academy.' Your Responsibilities: Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Maintaining clean equipment following proper training. Preparing supplies and packs for treatment. Conducting health checks with patients before and after dialysis. Escorting patients to clinical and waiting areas. Serving refreshments during treatments. Our Requirements: Must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health; Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3). Ideally, previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care. Excellent communication skills (oral + written) with fluency in English. What We Offer: Part-time position, 34.5 hours per week. Monday to Saturday shifts (please note there are no nights or Sunday working). Competitive Salary of up to £23,532 pro rata depending on experience. Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours (150 hours every 4 weeks). Paid breaks.
