Summary
We have a current opportunity for a Asset Safety Officer on a temporary basis for around 2 -3 months to start ASAP.
The role will involve:
- As part of the Compliance team, you will assist with the management of risk and performance for Gas Safety and compliance in relation to Electrical, Water safety systems, Asbestos and Fire ensuring adherence to current legislation.
- you will ensure a customer focus on safe service delivery and health and safety related supervision of employees.
- contribute to ensuring that SBHA assets are maintained in a safe condition, ensuring compliance with all statutory and other relevant legislative requirements.
- Assist the Compliance Manager and working as part of an established team to carry out site audit inspection, you will ensure the safe and effective delivery of gas servicing and repairs, gas installations, and compliance with electrical upgrades
To be considered for the post you must be Gas Safe registered and have experience in supervisions, monitoring and quality control for gas installations. Hold a qualification in Gas Safety or Gas, Electric or Renewable Energy.
The position will be based in Selkirk and is an office/site based role.
Driving licence and own car is essential.
