Role Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic part-time coach to join Millwall FC Academy. The role will include delivering on the plan-do-review process for our foundation phase academy goalkeepers. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the how we play, how we coach and how we support elements of the clubs academy performance plan, along with implementing the visions & values of the Academy and the Club as a whole. The part-time role will involve flexible working hours in conjunction with the Academy's training and games programme.
There will also be administrative tasks involved within the role in accordance with EPPP rulings, these include keeping players records up to date on the sports intelligence platform, developing & implementing individual player development plans, delivering performance reviews and attending CPD events put on by the academy.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop as a coach in an elite environment, helping us to install and lay down the foundations for the next generation of Millwall FC players.
Essential / Desired Requirements:
The role includes, but is not limited to:
• Must hold UEFA B licence (outfield and GK specific)
• Must hold FA Youth Modules 1,2 and 3
• FA Emergency Aid or ideally BFAS
• Safeguarding Children Certificate
• Hold an enhanced CRB/DBS certificate
• Desirable: a full driving licence and have the use of a vehicle
• Due to the nature of the role, evenings and weekend work will be necessary

Hours of work: Mondays, Fridays (5.00-7.00pm) & Sunday fixture with flexible timings.

Responsible to: Head of Coaching & Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach
Salary: £40 Per Session
