About the Quality Auditor job
Reporting to the Technical Manager, as Quality Auditor, you will audit, monitor, and evaluate quality systems and procedures and provide technical support for the operational teams. You will maintain and promote technical and quality standards in line with business need and customer requirements.
Key tasks
• Apply Quality Standards ensuring customer and legislative requirements are met.
• Audit compliance against Quality Management Systems and GMP.
• Ensure all product testing, organoleptic, micro, and chemical, is carried out according to the agreed schedule.
• Support NPD trials and product launches, managing micro testing and product life assessment to ensure products are manufactured to the correct standard.
About You
A clear passion for food safety compliance is essential. Previous food production quality assurance or technical experience is required; however, this role may suit a food science/food technology graduate with a placement who is looking to start their career within the food manufacturing industry.
• You will also be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of HACCP, Quality Management Systems and GMP and additional qualifications such as HACCP, Food Safety, Food Hygiene, Lead Auditor etc are all highly desirable.
• You will be highly organised with good prioritisation skills, be an effective communicator plus be IT literate.
• A driving licence is required due to site location.

The Quality Auditor job is based in Gwynedd and is paying £28,000 + 25% night shift allowance.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 10:00pm to 06:00am.
