Summary

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic people to join our restaurant/bar staff in Sheffield S5, as we gear up to open for business. We are looking for a team of front-of-house superstars who will work together, communicate well, and share a passion for creating an exceptional dining experience.

Knowledge about food and drinks is desirable but not essential. The role will give you the opportunity to work in a friendly and fast paced environment. There is potentials for grow and progress within the company.

The restaurant/bar is occupying a large plot in the middle of a housing estate, three miles north of Sheffield city centre with easy links to all major transport. This business is sitting right at the heart of the local community, with a consistent programme of activity, involving sports, night clubs and regular social events. The business is close to Sheffield Wednesday football ground, so benefits from increased patronage on match days and will provide a venue for live sports viewing and live music.

Roles:
• Greet and serve customers and take their orders in a friendly and attentive manner.
• The ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Explain menu and drinks items and make recommendations based on the customer's preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Enter orders accurately into the point of sale (POS) system and deliver them to the kitchen and bar.
• Great customer service skills to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Ensure that food and drinks is served promptly and at the correct temperature.
• Check on customers throughout their stay to ensure their satisfaction.
• Process payments and handle any issues with billing.
• Keep the dining and bar areas clean and presentable.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle any issues that may arise.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

Our standard hours are 40 hours per week on a flexible rota, where weekends and bank holidays will be required. Full time, Fixed term and seasonal contracts are available.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
