Summary
As a member of the Campus Services team, you will work alongside colleagues providing a range of activities which support Estates and Facilities Management (EFM) and Facilities Management across the University of Sheffield.
Campus Services is a busy and complex operational environment and as an Administrative Assistant, your role will be to assist in providing a comprehensive Administration support function across a large, diverse, and complex department.
As part of the Campus Services Administration Team, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for efficiency and will be responsible for ensuring excellent working relationships with service managers whilst bringing a high level of planning and organisational skills to the role, along with a keen eye for detail and good analytical skills and IT knowledge.
Your work will involve maintaining accurate personnel and training records for over 500 staff, collating, and distributing documentation for meetings and events, recruitment tasks, inputting data into various electronic systems along with handling general enquiries on the telephone and face to face.
Being a team player is an essential requirement for this role, which also requires excellent communication and customer service skills, along with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks, whilst ensuring work conforms to agreed University standards, guidelines and procedures.
