Nursery Third in Charge (Level 3)

Salary: Up to £31,500

Hours per week: 40, Monday-Friday

Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Nursery Third in Charge to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Management in providing high-quality care and education for young children in a safe and nurturing environment.

This beautiful purpose-built nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment. Children have access to beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces equipped with exciting toys and equipment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Proven experience in a childcare setting, with previous experience in a Deputy Manager or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in an early years setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, staff, and parents from diverse backgrounds
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation and best practices
  • A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Day-to-Day
  • Assist the management team in overseeing the daily operation and management of the nursery
  • Support staff in the planning and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of all children
  • Act as a positive role model for staff, children, and families, promoting a culture of equality and inclusion
  • Contribute to the training and development of nursery staff, promoting professional growth and cultural competence
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of all children at all times
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and families, promoting open communication and collaboration
