Crynodeb

Specific tasks the Simulation System Manager is required to deliver include;

Manage and maintain the DCCT Systems.
Manage and maintain the VBS Simulation Suite.
Assist the Training Divisions in the scenario building for VBS.
Ensure all equipment for DCCT and VBS is checked and tested, prior to use.
Maintain the unit Fire Safety Management Plan (FSMP).
Maintain the Health & Safety (SHEF) boards, ensuring they are current, compliant, and bought to the attention of all users, where applicable.
Carry out, and record all findings for the Quarterly Management Checks, as directed.
Act as custodian for the DCCT, VBS and other Simulation systems.
Issue Simulation equipment as per the correct stores and equipment procedure.
Deputise for the 25m Range Warden in times of absence.

The Simulation System Manager will be the main point of contact for the DCCT and VBS within the Infantry Battle School. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the all the simulation systems. They will also instruct and assist in the delivery of the courses. Line manager to the range warden.

Reporting directly to the Officer Commanding, Infantry Weapons Division, this post is pivotal in supporting the delivery of simulation weapons training to enable trained soldiers to complete their initial and subsequent trade training for service in the British Army.
