KAB is delighted to be offering an internship as part of the Get Set Progress scheme.
KAB is a local charity working across Kent, Medway and South East London. KAB was founded in 1920 to support servicemen returning from World War One with sight loss. Today, we support over 12,000 people at any age and at any stage of their sight loss journey. Our aims are to improve the independence, wellbeing and inclusion of people with sight impairments, while also driving the prevention of avoidable sight loss. We achieve this by providing a holistic range of services including rehabilitation, assistive technology support, awareness raising training, counselling, befriending and social groups.
