Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Grab Driver to work for our client operating a grab lorry efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and delivery of materials, ensuring timely and accurate service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities: Operate HGV Grab Lorry: Safely and efficiently operate the grab lorry, including loading and unloading materials. Transport Materials: Collect and deliver various materials to and from construction sites and other locations. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks and routine maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time. Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) License: Essential for operating the grab lorry. CPCS or NPORS Grab Certificate: Preferred, demonstrating competency in using the grab arm. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Understanding of health and safety procedures related to driving and operating heavy vehicles. Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
