Summary
Group Financial Controller | South East London | Part time | 2-3 days per week | £55k - £65k, pro-rata and depending on experience

This senior position offers a unique opportunity to report directly to the Board.
Are you the right person for the job?
• At least 5 years’ experience in senior financial management in medium-sized operating companies
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Fluency with Sage and other accounting software and systems
• Be familiar with general UK taxation regulations
• Part or full relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
What will your role look like?
• Ensure appropriate Accounting systems are in place for UK and overseas operating companies
• Develop short and long-term financial reporting systems
• Look for ways to reduce the Group’s exposure to financial risk
• Oversee financial department employees
• Manage cash requirements and control
• Review and develop technological advances and accounting software
• Report and advise on challenges or opportunities identified from Quarterly Financial Reports
• Ensure compliance with current financial regulations and legislation
• Liaise as necessary with relevant third parties including (but not limited to) auditors, insurers, HMRC, bankers and lawyers
