With a budget of around £270m, three hospitals and 5,500 staff, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital-based services to the population of Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and parts of East Durham and Sedgefield as well as community, therapeutic and screening to a wider population across Durham and Teesside.
An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Band 2 clerical officer within the Elective Inpatient Waiting List Booking Team.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated person to work in this extremely busy department providing a high quality service.
The post holder will be required to provide an efficient and effective administrative and clerical support service to internal and external users, working to strict deadlines whilst producing high quality, accurate and timely outputs to assist in patient care.

Working closely with Consultants to book their theatre lists.
Liase with patients to agree dates for their procedures.
Work with all internal colleagues to manage patients pathways.
Work alongside cancer trackers to book patients around their urgency for surgery and national guidance.
