We are looking for a motivated Solution Architect to take on the challenge of solving complex problems by designing, maintaining, and modernising services that support the work we do that will be used by nearly every person in the UK during their lives.

We’re especially interested in architects that have experience of delivering Enterprise scale, multi-million pound Payments and Accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), or Estates solutions, building on top of industry standard Software as a Service solutions.

Please Note – due to the size and location of the team you may be required to travel to the Blackpool, Leeds, Newcastle, or Manchester Hub.

• Lead a team of Architects to Design technical solutions (products and services) to meet user needs and align with DWP technical strategy and standards.

• Provide a consistent set of solution views, that communicate and describe the construction of the solution to all stakeholders.

• Champion solution communication, making the complex simple to understand.

• Lead the delivery of the technical and architecture design elements of services.

• Support delivery teams.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to create value-for-money solutions.

• Identify and implement architecture patterns.

• Resolve technical debt to reduce ongoing IT costs.

• Develop product roadmaps and represent designs at governance forums.
