This is a temporary, full-time role, for 12-14 months to cover maternity leave.

The role involves providing internal communications within a busy communications department and working alongside colleagues across the organisation. A mix of channels will be used to communicate effectively with different staff groups and obtain feedback to inform activity.

It is essential that the successful applicant has a degree or professional qualification in communications or a related discipline and some experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating communications activity.

It is a requirement of the post to provide an on-call communications service on a rota basis for which an additional allowance is paid. This requires of the post holder the ability to travel out of hours across Lancashire within a reasonable timescale.
