We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Customer & Marketing Team here at Greggs as Brand Strategy and Paid Media Lead. As Brand Strategy & Paid Media Lead you will be responsible for the ongoing development of our brand strategy across all customer channels and digital products, you also manage the team responsible for how our strategy is planned and executed across paid media channels - working closely with our Brand Comms & Creative Lead to always deliver in innovative ways. Across the wider Customer and Marketing Team, you own the planning and co-ordination of our marketing content across channel, with a focus on the successful delivery of our brand, customer and business objectives.
Working closely with teams across the business and managing agency partners, you will lead on the ongoing development of our marketing measurement framework and how we demonstrate the impact of what we do in helping to develop and grow the Greggs brand.

About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you’ll do
- Working closely with the Head of Brand & Communications, colleagues across the business and key agency partners – you will continue to evolve our brand strategy to ensure we support our strategic business plan and make Greggs mean more to more people within the context of our sector
- Across our Customer and Marketing Team, you lead on the implementation and execution of our brand strategy and how we use paid media to deliver against brand and commercial objectives.
- You manage the team responsible for how our strategy is planned and executed in paid media channels - working closely with our Brand Comms & Creative Lead to always deliver in innovative ways. Across the wider Customer and Marketing Team, you also lead on the planning, co-ordination of and measurement of our brand and marketing content.
- Managing our brand and media agency partners, you’re responsible for ensuring we continue to deliver innovative and creative strategies and media partnerships to make the Greggs brand stand out and cut through to attract and retain more customers.
- Alongside our Brand Comms & Creative Lead, ensure we continually deliver to the highest of creative standards, creating content that stands out, entertains and engages across paid media channels.
- Across Customer, Digital, Commercial and Retail teams you’ll work collaboratively to lead on the alignment of our messaging laydown across all customer facing channels and digital products, ensuring all agency briefs and asks are aligned and integrated where required.
- Working closely with Insight, Finance, Digital and relevant agency teams – you lead the ongoing development of our marketing measurement framework to demonstrate the impact and effectiveness of everything we deliver across channel against brand and business objectives.
- Within the Customer and Marketing function, you will lead the team and our agency partners to deliver to a constantly high standard.
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:

Have experience of leading in a strategic/media/brand/digitally focused role in either a large size brand team or agency

Have a track record of being a strategic and creative thinker with previous experience of evaluating and executing a marketing mixed modelling approach across channels, with a strong data skillset

Are experienced in working with and managing significant budgets across channels
-
Have demonstrable experience in people management and people development with an ability to inspire a team
-
Have strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, working in large cross functional groups
-
