Do you want to be part of a team that ensures we're delivering good outcomes for our customers? Here in Assurance Reporting & Projects, we're on a values-led mission to reimagine the way our colleagues interact with Assurance insight to provide good customer outcomes.

If you've got the skills to transform complex datasets into sleek, user-friendly visualisations that pack a punch, we want to hear from you!

What you'll need

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has demonstrable experience of programming skills including JavaScript, Python or R and has knowledge of software development techniques including version control, testing and documentation.
  • Has a strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation and can challenge the status quo. You'll make a genuine difference for our internal customers and innovate to bring Assurance insight into the right hands.
  • Is the type of person who doesn't wait for instructions - you see a problem and try to solve it. You're proactive in finding new builds, fixes and enhancements.
  • Can identify and evaluate complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
  • Can make a significant improvement on short-term or long-term business performance by recommending authoritative technical and/or professional solutions.
  • Is not content just knowing what's what in the world of data viz today, you're already thinking about what's next, learning new things and sharing them with your teammates to help us always evolve.

If you also have any experience of these, it would be really useful (but not essential):

  • Knowledge of best practices in user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design for data visualisation
  • Experience using Power BI and Tableau
  • A creative flair and a keen eye for design to craft visually exciting dashboards and reports
