We are looking for an enthusiastic and results driven Engineering Manager to join our client's team based out of their new site in Tankersley, Sheffield.

Your Remit:
To oversee and manage all aspects of the engineering department. Duties include:
- Lead the development of the Tankersley site to enable new product manufacture.
- Liaise with local authorities and other regulatory bodies to gain and maintain any relevant quality standards and manufacturing permits.
- To ensure that the site and the people on site operate safely and efficiently.
- To ensure that all products manufactured on site are manufactured to the product formulation and process instructions and meet the relevant Quality Control standards.
- Maintaining all machinery and buildings, including grounds and infrastructure using both internal and external resources
- Ensure compliance with BSI audits, insurance inspections
- KPI reporting in weekly and monthly reviews
- Managing all site improvement and CAPEX projects
What we are looking for
- Experience: Management and development of a small team and demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Person: Excellent planning, communication and decision making skills is essential. The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder and other departmental functions. Demonstrable evidence of business acumen.
- Technical: A strong engineering background, project management skills, and familiarity with hazardous environments are essential. Proficiency in Process Safety Management, emergency response planning, and instrumentation/control systems is crucial. l. It would be desirable for you to have working knowledge of SAP, Six Sigma Green Belt and IOSH certified.
