Summary
Challenge-trg is recruiting for the Royal Mint based in Llantrisant, South Wales, CF72 8YT. We are looking for Store Persons to work on an ongoing basis in a prestigious company steeped in History.
Here you will be taught new and bespoke manufacturing and production skills in a technically advanced and high security site. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and crafts in an exciting and dynamic workplace.
This is NOT shift work, hours are 7am - 3pm & 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and alternating weekly.
Your pay rate as a Store Person will be £11.44 per hour increasing to £12.39 per hour after training

What are we looking for as a Store Persons:
- Forklift Truck driver - Counterbalance (must be RTITB in date)
- Experience: Forklift: 1 year (required)
- Stores or stock control experience
- Good work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on own OR as part of a team
- Dexterity
- Ability to work to targets
- Clear criminal record
- Capability to commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
What does the job entail as a Store Persons:
- Scrapping of products and driving an FLT
- Operating ERP system to monitor stock location
- Ensuring correct storage, labelling, segregation, and safe handling of materials in all areas.
- Transporting goods through different areas of the factory
- Ensuring quality and production targets are met
