Summary
Receptionist | North Skelton, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Cleveland | 09.00-16.30 Monday, with 30 minutes’ unpaid lunch | 09.00 – 15.00 Tuesday to Thursday, with 30 minutes’ unpaid lunch | 09.00-14.00 Friday | £13.00 per hour
Our client, a heavy engineering subcontractor, based in East Cleveland, offers subcontract machining, mechanical engineering and testing services to several Industries including Defence, Renewables, Energy & Rail.
Formed in 1963, they are one of Redcar & Cleveland’s biggest privately owned employers.
You will be the first point of contact for future employees, customers, visitors, suppliers, and community members interacting with our company. Your duties will include: managing the reception area, including telephone and face-to-face greetings, assisting with sales administration, supporting employee wellbeing initiatives, handling diary management, and providing general administrative support for purchasing and HR.

What will your role look like?
• Reception duties including answering the telephone, greeting visitors, receiving and sorting post, ensuring all visitors adhere to H & S requirement
• Booking in visitors, making diary arrangements, and liaising with the Chef for employee and guest lunch arrangements
• Support with the sales administration function, including input of enquiries and processing of sales orders across Subcontract and Tees White Gill Thruster departments
• Assist with employee communications, the organising of events, employee engagement and HR administration tasks
• Support other departments with general administration such as data entry and filing as required, ensuring the correct and retrievable storage of data
• Providing general assistance to the managing director and senior team
