Summary

It’s an exciting time to join AXA Health. We’re looking for Registered Nurses to join our well respected and admired Cancer Care team on a permanent basis. As a Nurse Case Manager, you’ll be a clinical expert, using your clinical and case management skills to provide a high-quality care service to our members and their families within a highly supportive team environment. This will involve working closely with clinicians and hospitals to get the best care for our members.
You’ll have plenty of development opportunities including regular training and increased responsibility. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home in our Bristol office. Working hours Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm. No evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays.

What you’ll be doing:

Effectively manage claims and act as a clinical expert providing our members with specialist knowledge and assistance.
Ensure our members are aware of the treatment options within their cover and keep them informed of the progress of their claims.
Provide telephone support during a difficult time to our members and their family.
Take an active interest in our team, department and the wider business targets and how you can personally contribute to achieve these.
Understand and role model the principles of claims cost management and identify potential areas of leakage.
Develop in-depth knowledge, expertise and proficiency.
