About Us: Rolling Scoops is a unique ice cream bike business offering luxury gelato on the go. We operate primarily on weekends and cater to various events and parties, providing a delightful experience to our customers.
Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Ice Cream Bike Operator. This role is customer-facing, with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service. You will be responsible for operating our electric ice cream bike, managing stock and inventory, selling and serving our premium gelato to customers, and taking payments.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the ice cream bike and serve luxury gelato to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage stock and inventory, ensuring the bike is well-supplied.
- Navigate the bike safely around various locations.
- Sell and serve gelato to customers, handling cash and card payments.
- Support with event setups and operations.
- Report directly to the director of the company.
Requirements:
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Comfortable operating a heavy electric bike and being on the road.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and stock.
- Experience with handling cash and card payments.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, primarily on weekends.
