Ideal Recruit are currently looking for CNC Millers on behalf of our client in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a family run business, with an extensive workbook consisting of some huge projects within Motorsport, Oil & Gas, Marine, Scientific and more.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce small batches of high quality parts to very tight tolerances
• Operating CNC milling machines to manufacture parts according to the design specifications and blueprints.
• Complete work on Fanuc machine
• Take pride and responsibility in your work
• Calibrating machines for precise measurements and ensuring that the machine settings match the specifications of the component.
• Diagnosing and fixing issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality.
• Adhering to workplace safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
• MUST have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CNC Miller
• Must be a self sufficient engineer, who is passionate about their work
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure part accuracy
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce precision components
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and management
• Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
