Summary

Job Description

Reporting to the Supervisor/Depot Manager, you will assist with the supervision of frontline services including Refuse Collection and Streetscene Operations within a designated geographical area.

You must be able to motivate a team, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and be able to demonstrate the ability to find solutions to problems effecting frontline service delivery.

Good communication skills, IT skills and a current driving licence are essential. A formal qualification to SVQ level 3 in an area appropriate to the post is desirable as is previous supervisor experience and risk assessment training.

You must also already possess or be willing to work towards obtaining First Aid certification.

A 4 days on/ 4 days off work pattern is in operation including weekend working.

This post is temporary for a period up to 24 months.
