Summary
We are currently seeking a forward thinking, dynamic, motivated individual to work within Barts Health Trust based in the Cardiac Department at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. The successful candidate will contribute to service provision with invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations. There may be some cross-site cover at other hospitals in the trust.
Applicants would ideally be competent in non-invasive cardiac procedures including ECGs, Holter and ambulatory BP monitor fitting, Holter analysis, assisting in exercise testing and CPEX, with some knowledge of invasive cardiology/pacing/echocardiography. We have a supportive environment for training and development. You will be expected to demonstrate maturity and experience consistent with this grade and position, however, further training will be provided if necessary
An experienced Cardiac Physiologist/Scientist is required to work competently with a multi-disciplinary team in the Cardiology Department, Barts Heart Centre. The post holder will be required to perform foundation level tasks unsupervised and to assist senior staff as required. The post holder must be able participate in non-invasive clinical procedures competently. In addition the post holder will be required to supervise, train, guide and support staff in the performance of their individual roles and to give support to senior staff members.
