MBM Print SCS Ltd are one of the leading providers of print for manufacturing in Europe, supporting some of the world's biggest names.
They are looking for a Buyer to join the customer services team; where you will report to the Customer Services and Purchasing Manager. You should have manufacturing knowledge and experience in a procurement role, and experience utilising an ERP System is preferred.
Are you the right person for the job?
• A good knowledge and understanding of supply chain and procurement processes
• Experience utilising an ERP System
• Experience working within a Manufacturing Environment
• Estimating experience preferred but not essential
• Be capable of communicating with suppliers and colleagues alike
• Be motivated and well organised
• Have the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail
• Possess good communication and organisational skills
• Print Background preferred but not essential
What will your role look like?
• To undertake the procurement of paper, packaging, outwork and services to support internal and external customers
• Reviewing and analysing suppliers, supply and price options, maximising value for money
• Negotiating the best deal for pricing on ad hoc purchases
• Identify cost savings
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
• Ensure the accuracy of all data input
• Support Procurement Manager in supplier evaluation, supplier negotiations and development of procurement function
• Assist Customer Services Team to produce estimates
