Summary

We are recruiting in Sheffield for Teaching Assistants to start in September. The role would be to work in school that provides education for young people who have severe and complex learning difficulties. They offer an aspirational, personalised, and multi-sensory curriculum designed to ensure that students are successful and enjoy their learning.

A successful candidate would have:

Supporting students with SEMH and SEND needs.
Has had experience in an educational setting within the last 2 years.
Experience working within education or care in the UK in the last 12 months.
The suitable candidate will be confident, caring, and have an assertive personality.
Experience in working with young people with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties and/or ASD
What to expect:

You will be supporting pupils with three different pathways which each student will following depending on their individual needs.
This school follows a rich curriculum with uses sensory exploration to engage students with the world around them, there are aspects of learning that focus on action hands on learning involving Maths and English.
Requirements:

Team Teach qualification (essential).
Experience in working with young people with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties and/or ASD
Moving & handling training (essential).
Available for between 3-5 days work.
x2 references.
Experience working within education or care in the UK in the last 12 months.

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
