About the Role: As an Effluent Treatment Plant Technical Operator (Wastewater), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating our wastewater treatment systems. Upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations: Complete daily check sheets and relevant defect sheets for all equipment used.
  • Safety Management: Ensure the safety of vehicles, drivers, and others during loading and unloading operations.
  • Logbook Maintenance: Maintain accurate equipment logbooks, ensuring content accuracy and obtaining necessary sign-offs.
  • Training and Development: Actively participate in regular training and development reviews with line management, mentors, HR, and other company representatives.
  • Safety Practices: Work diligently to ensure personal safety and the safety of others, complying with all health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Compliance: Adhere to waste legislation and company/client policies when dealing with waste.
  • Incident Reporting: Report unsafe conditions, acts, near misses, incidents, and accidents promptly to the company and/or client.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake any other tasks as directed by company or client representatives, within the scope of your training and development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in wastewater maintenance.
  • Proven experience with reactive maintenance.
