Summary


The Digital Programme at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for Senior Project Support Officers to join our team delivering projects underpinning Trust strategic objectives.

We are seeking a Senior Project Support Officer to support the Cerner Theatres go-live across the OUH, working on-site, supporting clinical end users during shift work with at-the-elbow support, and mentoring junior PSOs.

Successful candidate must be flexible and able to commit to some weekends and night shifts. Lots of overtime opportunities available.

Candidates must be comfortable working in clinical areas including in scrubs within theatre areas after full training is received. Experience using Electronic Patient Record systems beneficial.

This post will provide Solution Expertise and Project Management Support for core EPR Solutions through design validation, test, delivery and adoption within the OUH EPR Programme

The post holder will provide expert solution advice on aspects of Core EPR and related Solutions on which they have been trained, mentored, assessed and certified as competent. The post holder will mentor and support junior colleagues.

The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

• Teach clinical workflows to end users and support in their application
• Mentor and support junior PSOs
• Liaise with IM&T staff to trouble-shoot equipment issues
• Assist Solution Leads with testing new workflows
• Provide adoption support for new functionality with a particular emphasis on Theatres support
• Work within a team of 12 to instil confidence in the Electronic Patient Record Systems
• Support clinical shifts, working 12 hour stretches including weekends and night shifts during go live periods with plenty of overtime opportunities available

Must be able to work across all clinical sites of the OUH, including John Radcliffe, Horton Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic
