I am looking for a someone who has a background in supporting adults who are risk of becoming homeless, and may be struggling to sustain their tenancy. You will become part of an amazing team who will support service users in their journey to allow them to live independently and re-engage within the community. I am in partnership and collaborating with a fantastic national client who are a registered care and support charity, who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for the most disadvantaged communities in the country and provide support to vulnerable adults. They aim to provide the very best service, and they would love YOUR help to continue that vision.

Overview of the Role
You will support those that are in temporary & permanent accommodation to sustain their tenancy. This will be achieved by liaising with the Housing Support Workers within your team to make sure that the service users are claiming the correct benefits, are paying their rent on time, and are keeping their properties clean. Your goal is to deliver person centred support to service users, enabling them to secure suitable accommodation and to meet their immediate needs, enabling them to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support, advice, and respond appropriately to chaotic, challenging behaviour, and Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Help maintain tenancy and ensure rent arrears policies are administered
  • Provide a responsive intensive housing management service, including supporting with personal budgeting, debt management, and claims for welfare benefits
  • Liaise with line manager regarding referrals, voids, and vacant properties


Required Experience

  • Experience supporting people sustain their tenancies, working with vulnerable people who have been subject to homelessness or substance misuse

Interview Process
1st Stage - Shortlisting & Pre-Screening
In this stage I will review your CV, and then invite you for a telephone conversation, where will discuss your right to work, work history, suitability for the role, and any questions you may have.

2nd Stage - Formal Interview
In this stage, you will have a formal interview with the hiring manager.

If successful, you will be required to have a DBS on the update service, eligibility of right to work, and your start date will be subject to sufficient references.
