About the Role: As a Credit Controller at System C, you will be integral to managing our cash collection processes. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving cash generation. You will be responsible for optimising working capital levels, meeting cash collection targets, and shaping our credit control procedures to support our growth. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Engage with customers proactively to confirm receipt and processing of sales invoices.
- Chase overdue debts in line with the credit control chase cycle, maintaining comprehensive records of all communications.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts, including foreign currency transactions.
- Provide monthly cash collection forecasts and contribute to cashflow forecasting.
- Report risks and opportunities related to cash collection, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
- Prepare detailed monthly accounts receivable reports for senior management.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams to support effective debt collection.
- Maintain up-to-date credit control process documentation and assist in process improvements.
- Significant experience in Credit Control.
- Experience with shared service centres is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains would be advantageous.
- Excel skills.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to influence and improve processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience.
