We are looking for hardworking reliable people to join our client's team in production.

Our client, based in the Driffield area, require food production operatives for immediate start. This position is temporary on ongoing, however could become a permanent position within the business for the right candidates.

Our client manufactures and specialises in top quality, handmade confectionery, sugar, and bakery ingredients. They are a family run business, operating since 1969. Our client prides themselves on providing quality products to a wide range of customers and supplying to bakery trade, health food shops, delicatessens, and retail outlets.

Working within a busy environment as a food production operative, you will be accountable for contributing to the production plan through efficient resolution, utilisation and operation of equipment, maximising quality, productivity, and material.

You will be working in a clean, and modern environment and will be assisting in the production and packing of various confectionery products.

The shifts will be Monday to Wednesday 6am til 4pm and Thursday 6am til 3:30pm.

As a food production operative, you will ensure company policies are maintained regarding Food Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Customer Codes of Practice, Safety, Health and Environment and operating practices.

As a food production operative, you need to be able to operate within a demanding but rewarding factory environment that is physically demanding and can entail repetitive tasks.

Ideally, experience within a similar production role, however, full on the job training will be provided. This is a fast-paced environment where good English and good attention to detail are required. You need to have a can-do attitude, be willing to work, friendly and enjoy working as part of a team.

Due to the location, own transport will be required or living locally to the area.
