Summary

At CHSS our full-time hours are 32.5 per week so at c. £23,472 the salary equates to £27,083 an equivalent 37.5-hour week post.

By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as a Senior Project Support Officer you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living.

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our Hospital to Home services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.

We are looking for a Senior Project Support Officer to join our amazing team of Project Support Officers and Project Managers. This role will lead and support many of our Service Development Projects. The successful candidate will lead in the planning and delivery of projects, as well as organising and chairing project meetings & producing reports.

The post holder will need to support, coordinate and communicate with teams on multiple projects and will be expected to manage their time effectively.

Candidates do not need to have medical knowledge as training is provided on our health conditions. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and long-term conditions as well as an understanding of the challenges faced by people with chest, heart and stroke conditions.
