Summary
To maintain a sound working knowledge of all Radiology IT systems Provide first line system and application support for all users of the systems supporting all levels of users in all applications. Log support calls with managed service PACS supplier as and when required. Day to day administration of hospital PACS system, including correcting and tidying anomalous studies, merging patients / studies and any other administrative functions. Monitor the quality of the data held in the PACS system, retrospectively check data quality and correct where necessary. Set up and maintain PACS user accounts for both hospital and remote sites in line with IT protocols. Provide administrative support for other radiology IT systems including updating and correcting RIS entries, & checking and merging records on the hospital order communications system (ICE).
