Summary
Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our agency for Operating Room shifts across Bath. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a surgical setting.
Duties:
- Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients during surgery and assist the surgical team as required.
- Administer medications and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative period.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe operating room environment.
Experience:
- Must be a qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Previous experience working in an Operating Room or surgical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong patient care skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients undergoing surgery.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in surgical procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
