About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Children’s Services complaints team at Cardiff Council as a Complaints and Correspondence Assistant. We are seeking a motivated individual to provide essential support in managing and processing complaints and correspondence related to our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the team with administrative tasks related to complaints and correspondence.
Handle telephone complaint calls, taking accurate details of concerns raised by service users.
Monitor and register complaints under the Council’s statutory Social Services Complaints process.
Provide support in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence related to complaints.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures in handling complaints.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in a similar role and familiarity with social services complaints processes is desirable. A DBS check is required for this position.
