Summary
Seeking experienced Support Workers in Bridgend / Tondu, CF32 9DY
- Exceptional hourly pay of £13.20 per hour. Sleep nights are paid at £45 per night
- Full-time, part-time and relief
- It is essential that you hold a full UK or EU Driving Licence , as the people you will be supporting ask that you are able to drive their mobility vehicles.
We are looking for an amazing support worker to join one of our homes in Bridgend - You will be part of a strong team who are focused on making the biggest difference to the lives of four fantastic gentleman, aged from their late 20s to 40s, who are full of fun and personality.
No two days are ever the same! One day you could be up and out on walks, going to disco dance clubs and attending social clubs which include games of pool, or sitting back and relaxing whilst getting creative with a box full of arts and imagination. Swimming, the gym, trips to the farm are also firm favourites. If you're a Harry Potter, Eastenders and Dr Who fan - That's a bonus! You will also support with developing daily living skills, administering medication and supporting with personal care and mobility assistance, if needed.
Do you have experience in healthcare, mental health, learning disabilities, autism or behaviours of distress?
Are you a confident, empathic and resilient support worker, who is wanting to work alongside people with complex learning disabilities and autism, in a caring and supportive manner?
Shift Patterns: 8am - 3pm; 3pm - 9pm / 10pm; 3pm - 11pm, sleep, then 7am - 3pm. (Waking nights are from 9pm - 8am)
